Digital Technology and our school

In our school, we endeavour to equip our pupils with the skills required to begin their journey into the digital world in which we live today, Gsuite for Education is our schools chosen platform.

All of our pupils are assigned a dedicated Gmail school account, through which we, as a school, deliver curriculum content in school and at home. 

It is our aim, to teach the skills they will need to navigate various digital platforms and to use them to enhance learning experiences. Using platforms such as Google Classroom, Google sites, Docs, Slides, Book Creator and Keynote, we ensure all pupils can access tasks meaningfully and with ease.

Through engagement with Coding Ireland, Digital Skills Curriculum, we support the development of critical digital skills such as coding and robotics, preparing students for the future and fostering their growth as engaged, global digital citizens. https://www.codingireland.ie/

 We are working hard to ensure our students can and will be digitally literate by the time they leave us in Sixth Class.
